At startup, a decision was taken that Blue Crystal Sukiri should adopt the national colours of the Botswana flag. Permission was obtained from the Office of the President.

Having been previously owned by the Botswana Development Corporation and carrying the national colours, Blue Crystal Sukiri is easily recognised and accepted as a product of Botswana.
